I find people are always warning new parents of the obvious things when you have your first child.
always keep them warm
always put socks on them
make them sleep on their back
watch the soft spot
ETC...
you get the point!
well what they don't tell you.. is well EVERYTHING IMPORTANT!!! i laugh everyday and smile even more because i am so blessed and so lucky to be able to call myself a mom, riley is truly remarkable... but, she is also remarkably sneaky.. and that little girl knows her way around a room.. any room at any location at any time! naps are out, running around and ripping off diapers.. are in! I mark it as being advanced for her age, she walked at 10 months and is now quickly approaching a year and she is one crafty little girl! amazes me everyday, nothing is safe, all is free game and boy she's fast..
item of the day: the dish towels i hang from our oven.. they have become our new favorite chew toy :)
her spirit is infections and i commend her energy but whew am i tired! constantly tired.. and smiling anyway
